The Abandoned Company Blog: How to Revive It
47 articles. The last one dates back to 2022. The blog is a ghost.
Yet, these 47 articles represent an investment. A potential. An untapped SEO capital.
My revival method:
1. Audit: which articles still have potential? (impressions, backlinks)
2. Refresh the top 10: new data, new sections, better structure
3. Delete or merge the bottom 20
4. Create a realistic editorial calendar (1 article/week > 0 articles then 10 at once)
5. Promote each article on LinkedIn and in the newsletter
A client: blog abandoned for 18 months. We refreshed 15 articles, deleted 22, created 12 new ones. 6 months later: blog traffic tripled. 35% of leads come from content.
The past is not dead. It's waiting to be reactivated.
Is your blog sleeping or working for you?
